| | Model of the car: | Outback | | | General comments: | I have owned my Subaru now for 7 months and LOVE it. I just survived the lake-effect snowstorms we dealt with here in Buffalo Christmas week...this car was awesome. I had to drive through several towns that had driving bans in effect and this car never lost traction ONCE. It was nice to feel so safe and secure. I appreciate the ammenities inside...the all weather package is truly appreciated in our winters and the cargo room is very generous. I have two golden retrievers who love to tag along and they have plenty of room in the back. The upgraded stereo system is excellent. I have read some people are not pleased with the acceleration of this vehicle, but it does a super job for me. It seems to have plenty of power and the automatic shifts very smoothly. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Poor positioning of the cup holder and the seat warmer buttons (no big deal though)
In the back cargo area, it is a shame they could not have made the interior out of a sturdier material. I have had the back tail gate and side walls ruined. Once I had some rocks for my garden in the back, when I made a turn one rolled into the back tailgate and punched a hold in the thin, flimsy material. Another time I had a propane tank for my grill, which tipped and put a hole in the little storage compartment door. That is my biggest complaint with this car. | | | Previous car: | NONE |
